Zyterra is unique in its ability to sustain so many different types of unique fauna and floral species. Besides anim and the typical livestock, there is also a plethora of other strange organisms that walk the planet. For ease of identifying these creatures, some of the more biology savvy have come up with a categorization system to easily group species and provide some insight on what dangers they pose. These creatures are typically just generalized as "Umbrum" and are grouped into 3 subtypes:
